Move to Amend national spokesperson David Cobb, attorney and former Green Party presidential candidate, is visiting Hawaii to discuss the issue of corporate power in America.

Move to Amend national spokesperson David Cobb, attorney and former Green Party presidential candidate, is visiting Hawaii to discuss the issue of corporate power in America.

Cobb will give a presentation about the story of the American creation myth and the Constitution as it pertains to corporate personhood and legal corporate constitutional rights.

Cobb will speak and meet with Hawaii Island residents from 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, at the University of Hawaii at Hilo UCB 100. The event is free and open to the public. The formal presentation, “Creating Democracy and Challenging Corporate Rule,” begins at 7 p.m.

Move to Amend is a national coalition of more than 315,000 people and organizations whose goal is amending the United States Constitution to end corporate rule by building a multiracial, cross-class democracy movement.
